South Carolina Archives Month Events

These events showcase archives, special collections, and the vast richness of the documentary heritage found throughout the state. We invite students, parents, teachers, genealogists, historians and anyone interested to attend any or all of these events.

		Historic Charleston Foundation Website Exhibit	Featured items from the Margaretta Childs Archives on-line. http://www.historiccharleston.org
		Hendersonville High School Alumni Association Web site Debuts	The school operated from 1923 until 1959 as a high school. The web site will include a history of the school along with graduation class pictures and pictures of former teachers. http://www.hhs-days.com
		Benedict vs Allen: NegroState Fair Football Classics 1924-1938	Do you cheer for the Benedict or Allen football teams? Check out this new exhibit and learn about their ealy 'classic' football games at the Negro State Fair through articles from The State and Palmetto Leader newspapers, as well as artifacts from the two schools.
