Each student must attend observatory only ONCE.
Specific dates below say "Observatory Open" highlighted in green to show that observatory is scheduled to be open.
Currently, there are ONLY sessions on Mondays. To sign-up, click on the date (in blue) you want and then click on 'Create'. Then type your full name ONLY in the 'Calendar text' box. Please enter names only (NO TIMES, NO SSN). Then press 'Submit'. Notice that each night shows the time range observatory will be open and the total number of people that may sign up (in parentheses). If you sign-up after the list is full, your name will be erased and you will not be allowed to attend that session. If you sign-up and weather permits us to be open, you are expected to show up within 15 minutes of the start time listed. You MUST bring your lab manual with you to the session. If you are signed-up and do not attend, your grade on that activity will be penalized. If you cannot make your appointment and must cancel, please email Dr. Simpson at simpsonc@fiu.edu. |
